Prior to engaging Avatria, Worldwide Cyclery was using Shopify's native Google Analytics Enhanced Ecommerce tracking, which was failing to collect key actions. Key barriers to resolution included:

  • Extremely large catalog

  • Many similar products with minor differentiation

  • Minimal site search usage

  • New products frequently introduced

Avatria helped Worldwide Cyclery fully implement Enhanced Ecommerce tagging via theme updates and Google Tag Manager.


As part of the initiative, Avatria also installed Google Optimize and set up an A/B test of rankings generated by a Machine Learning solution implemented by Avatria.


The rankings for Avatria's solution were then applied to the site's "Featured" sort order on high-traffic collections via a Shopify integration.

In addition to the metrics listed above, Convert’s rankings outperformed the control group in the following 8 metrics: Unique Purchases, Cart-to-Detail Rate, Product Detail Views, Adds to Cart, Checkout to View Rate, Product Clicks, Product Detail Views, Checkouts.
